Senior Building Maintenance SurveyorDepartment: AssetsLocation: Ripley, DerbyshireHours per Week: Full Time, 37 hours per weekContract: PermanentSalary Scale: Competitive/NegotiableSalary guidance c£57,000Join our clients journey of transformation as they invest into their estates and assets.They are looking for a Senior Building Maintenance Surveyor to join them on a full time, permanent basis, at the start of an exciting time for the organisation.Working in partnership with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, you will ensure that their combined estates are fit for the future; resilient, efficient and cost effective in delivering a service to the people of Derbyshire.As part of the Assets Team, you will deliver on both daily property maintenance tasks and key maintenance projects, ensuring that their properties are maintained to the highest standards in line with current Health & Safety legislation and budgetary constraints.In addition, you will take an active role in the further implementation and development of our new property asset management system (Concerto).Youll have a vital role to play in delivering our clients long-term plans, taking ownership and overseeing a range of projects including office relocations, refurbishments and adaptations, of both their current estate and new acquisitions.Using your previous experience of managing or supervising a team, you will delegate work through the surveying/property team and external consultants and contractors. You will carry out more complex cyclical, reactive and routine property maintenance tasks,making sure that all necessary actions are completed and to provide relevant updates on progress to senior stakeholders, as well as controlling budgets and expenditure.Its a role that offers huge variety; a customer focused approach and a strong ability to prioritise will be required as you undertake a range of tasks, working collaboratively with internal and external contacts and supporting a range of stakeholders withvarying deadlines.The salary for this role will be up to £57,000, however this may be negotiable for the right candidate based on their skills and experience.Our client is passionate about your ongoing development and will support opportunities for training and professional development.
