Job Description

What is great about the role In this role you will be delivering workshops, organising day trips and activities that allow the people we support to grow and develop their skills and confidence and to give them the opportunity to experiences they may not have had before. We have a culture built on our values to be Positive, Considerate and Connected.This is a 37 hour full time permanent positionThe salary for this role is £19,336 per annum or £10.05 per hourThe scheme is covered 24 hours, 7 days a week so you would be expected to work on a rota basis which would involve: day shifts, weekends & sleep ins. You will receive an additional payment for sleep ins. For this role you are required to drive and have access to a vehicle, and you will also require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.Day to Day Duties: As a Scheme Support Officer, you will work alongside the Project Workers.Your day will consist of:

  • Engaging and interacting with the people we support
  • Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing
  • Welfare checks
  • Organising and participating in day trips
  • Maintenance checks such as health & safety, fire safety
  • Addressing any additional needs, the people we support might have
Our motivation is to ensure we equip the people we support with the knowledge and tools they need to live independently. This is a challenging role and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health, substancemisuse and offending behaviour.
