Job Description

The post, will predominantly be based in Abertonllwyd House and a key aspect of the role is to complete all the adult Eligibility Assessments for Supported Housing within the RCT Area. The successful candidate will also cover any of our RCT and Merthyr schemeswhen required.This is a permanent post for 37 hours per week, predominantly worked Monday to Friday but with the expectation of evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins and waking nights depending on the service covered. You will receive additional payment for sleep-ins.For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.Day to Day Duties:As a Project Worker you will lead each shift by managing the scheme and overseeing the Scheme Support Officers.Your day will consist of:

Engaging and interacting with our clients
Writing and following a support plan with the individual you are supporting
Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing
Liaising with external agencies
Addressing any additional needs, the people we support might have

Our aim is to ensure we equip these individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to live independently. This is a challenging role and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health, substance misuse andphysical disabilities.
