So, if yourelooking for short- or long-term placement opportunities, VES can help!VES is looking to appoint qualified Learning Support Assistants, to work in schools across the South Wales Valley. The candidate needs to be hardworking and committed to their role within the classroom. Learning Support Assistants may be required to work with children on a one-to-one basis, as well as in small groups, so itis vital that the candidates for these roles can be open to various methods of providing support. These vacancies are to cover planned and unplanned absences such as sicknesses, maternity, paternity, and courses.Applicants Require:

An enhanced DBS check which is subscribed to the update service or be willing to undergo one with VES (N.B all DBS checks must state that you are working with the Child Workforce in line with DBS guidelines)
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Details of two referees, to cover the last 24 months of employment history
Level 2 or 3 CACHE, BTEC, Health & Social, NNEB, Degree or equivalent
