Job Description

Job Title: HR Business PartnerSalary: up to £55,000Birmingham (B45)Hybrid workingWe are currently looking for an excellent HR Business Partner to join a successful business on a permanent basis.You will lead the HR Business Partnering function and be responsible for providing full employee life-cycle HR support to 200 employees. You will be accountable for overseeing UK HR policies, processes and project work, ensuring they align with the overarchingHR strategy.Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner

  • Drive employee engagement across a diverse team, working across multiple locations.
  • Deliver employee engagement, D&I and CSR initiatives, which align to business agendas HR Compliance
  • Ensure all HR compliances are met including, but not limited to audit deadline requirements, appropriate record keeping, DPO guidelines, etc
  • Regularly review all UK HR processes to ensure compliance to UK legislation and suitability
  • Suggest, create and implement new UK HR process / policies in line with UK requirements
  • Coach, develop and support managers in absence management, performance management, conduct management and grievance processes
  • Support in the administration of other HR request such as flexible working, maternity leave etc
  • Collaborate with local and corporate L&D teams to ensure maximum utilisation of offerings
  • Design and deliver UK Specific training as and when required.
  • Define and drive projects related to HR agenda and local business requirements on own initiativ
  • Understand current corporate offerings and adapt where necessary to make it specific to UK requirements (legal or otherwise)
  • Act as a point of contact for any queries and requirements from the UK Talent Acquisition team
  • Deliver smooth day one onboarding through corporate induction and introduction to Company systems and policies / processes.
  • Carry out exit formalities, including exit interviews for all leavers
  • Track all leavers and joiners and ensure all requirements are met e.g. RTW, agreement to policies, induction, system introduction, ordering ID cards
  • Act as a trusted advisor for senior stakeholders across the UK business.
  • Manage difficult stakeholder conversations with resilience and professionalism
Skills required for the HR Business Partner
  • Strong generalist HRBP background
  • Experience working across large complex organisations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to deal with people at different levels
  • Operates proactively, demonstrating initiative
  • Strong influencing skills and high levels of resilience and determination
  • Experience in using Microsoft products including Teams, Excel, Powerpoint,etc
  • A current working knowledge of UK employment law
  • A good working knowledge of UK HR best practices
