Due to internal promotion we are have an exciting opportunity for a senior finance professional to join our Defence, Marine and Aerospace (DMA) sector as a Head of Finance.This role is pivotal in supporting the Managing Director to drive the business performance, constantly aiming for ambitious growth and continuous improvement. With a strong growth agenda, you will be managing a portfolio which includes cost plus, fixed priceand PFIs contractsAs Head of Finance you will have proven skills of P&L delivery and growth, a keen eye on automation, digital and process improvement. You will manage a team of finance professionals to support focusing on the detail, continually improve service levels, andadding value to commercial activities across the business subsector. You will be integral to a high-profile sector and have the opportunity to support wider Compass One and UK projects.To achieve this there will be a keen focus on commerciality across the board with every margin growth opportunity and cost mitigation explored, key initiatives being implemented and will include client negotiations where you will take the lead on finances.The Head of Finance will actively support client relationship management including contract negotiations and have overall responsibility for forecasting & governance of subsector finances – highlighting and managing risks and opportunities around achievementof subsector targets.Other responsibilities include but are not limited to;
