Job Description

Role: Production ButcherRate: £8.75 - £9.80 per hourContract: PermanentLocation: Redgrave , IP22 1SAShift Available: 07:00am to 17:45pm (4 days per week mon – fri on a rotating shift pattern)6 days per week working during Christmas production Gressingham foods We are a family business established in Suffolk in 1971 based in Redgrave with a reputation for exceptional product, innovation and industry leading animal welfare standards. Our facilities combine traditional British butchery technique with some of the best technological prowess in the food sector.A committed team of over 300 staff oversee the whole process: from procuring the best possible livestock from our carefully picked group of farms, through butchery, retail packaging and despatch before it finally arrives on the supermarket shelf or as part of the restaurant dining experience.About you: • Excellent knife skills• Thrive in a fast-paced environment• Must have own transport or be able to get to work• Flexible in your ability to work on your own or within a Team• Enjoy working to targets• This role would be ideally suited to an individual who has previous experience working in a factory or kitchen environment where they have had to prepare a variety of meat-based productsRole: • Debone ducks and turkeys into portions to a high standard • Achieve daily production targets• Minimising waste• Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures and Company specifications are strictly adhered toBenefits: • Staff shop• Free onsite parking• Yearly Production bonus – (qualifying criteria)• Subsidised canteen• 3% Pension contributionJob Type: Full-timeExperience:• Butchery : 1 year (Preferred) however full training will be given
