Warehouse Operative (Frozen)D2C TeamLocation: Redditch, Worcestershire Full Time: 40 hours per week (5 days Monday to Friday)Salary: £10.50 per hour plus 10% allowanceAre you looking for a new opportunity and challenge Do you want to work for a forward thinking and growing OrganisationOakland International are a multi-temperature supply chain logistics specialist and an ethical family business.We are looking for a hands-on individual to work in our main warehouse team, who enjoys a challenge, is able to use their own initiative, working proactively on their own and as part of a bigger team.The successful candidate will be based at our Redditch Site in Worcestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a new opportunity working within the food industry and wanting to develop their career. Previous experience and MHE licenceswill be an advantage.Warehouse Operative - Responsibilities

  • Order picking and labelling using the correct procedures.
  • Ensure correct dress code (PPE) is worn at all times.
  • Follow clean as you go policy, so housekeeping is kept to the required standards.
  • Report any Health and Safety issues to supervisor/manager.
  • To be able to work overtime as and when required to meet business needs.
  • Ensure all consolidated pallets are correct height and in safe condition.
  • All pallets are consolidated to their maximum.
Requirements for the Warehouse Operative
  • Understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet operational needs
  • Able to work in temperatures of minus 25
Desirable
  • Experience in a chilled environment
  • Previous stick check experience
Essential
  • Proven track record working in a Warehouse
  • Conversant with warehouse processes
