Job Description

The Company:The company has grown into a global solutions provider of industrial electrical technologies.The Role:They are seeking a passionate, result driven and self-motivated Internal Sales Engineer with proven track record who will thrive in a collaborative sales environment.Duties will be many and varied but will principally be:

  • Assist with sales enquiry management and triage process where required.
  • Assist with order processing where required.
  • Issue technical and commercial offers.
  • Interpret customer product & application specifications to propose a definitive technical solution.
  • Assist with enquiry follow-up and order hand-over to ensure compliance between the offer and order.
  • Take ownership of customer queries. This may entail tender pricing guidance, providing information regarding stock, alternative options and services delivering client satisfaction and an efficient resolution.
  • Have daily contacts with their facilities & departments both locally & throughout the world.
  • Establish long-term collaborative & supportive relationships with both colleagues and clients.
  • You may support technical meetings, training and customer visits upon request
Requirements:
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of ideally Geared Motors, Electric Motors or related Industrial Power Transmission equipment, their application and specification.
  • Qualified to ONC or above in a mechanical/electrical engineering subject and have gained 3yrs+ professional experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet KPI targets adopting a positive, calm & level-headed approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Good general MS Office knowledge, SAP is a plus.
Fast learner with the ability to work both independently and as a team.Required skills
