The role will be reporting to the Technical Support Manager and will involve providing technical telephone or remote access support to promote increase in sales and effective use of the products.Technical Support OfficerThe Technical Support Officer will have the following responsibilities:Job Description

  • Responding to assistance requests and customer queries via telephone calls and emails.
  • Providing aftersales and technical support to end-users.
  • Supporting customers via remote access to the equipment and machines.
  • Establishing processes for tracking customer support issues and achieving KPIs.
  • Utilising and maintaining the CRM system for all support provided.
  • Providing reports and analysis of support given to customers.
  • Maintaining close liaison with customers and other departments, specifically the service team, to ensure the promotion of exemplary customer service.
Technical Support OfficerThe Technical Support Officer will require the following essential skills/experienceEssential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Experience working in a similar role.
  • Technical aptitude, problem solving and proactive.
  • A basic understanding of GNSS and GPS for earthworks and civil engineering.
Technical Support OfficerThe Technical Support Officer will require the following desirable skills/experienceDesired Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Working understanding of SiteLink and CRM system.
  • Knowledge of Trimble, Leica and Topcon machine control workflows.
  • Experience working with an ERP system.
