We are looking for a Technical Sales Advisor to join a thriving company in Redditch to help them drive their sales and support the existing sales team. You will be responsible for growing revenues and expanding on their excellent reputation in their market,80% of the calls you will be making will be to existing customers and the rest will be following up on leads provided for you for new business. If you have the skills to source your own leads as well you really would be able to excel at this role.Technical Sales Advisor role :-Identifying, engaging, developing and securing business for equipment rentalsManaging existing customer relationships and working to identify and close new rental prospects.Participating in promotional events, trade shows and industry associations within your regionMaintaining your future and current accounts in your CRM to document rental sales related activitiesConsistently growing your knowledge base and your networkprofessional development, community involvement, and personal growth.Supporting the inside sales team, answering calls and issuing quotations.Helping customers solve their technical problems this is a solution based sales process.The successful Technical Sales Advisor will have the following skills and experienceEducated to at least A Level standard, preferably in a relevant field such as Geography, Geology or ChemistryPrevious sales or business development experience (outbound)Relationship building or account management experienceKnowledge of sourcing your own leads would be a distinct advantage but not essential as this is mostly selling to an existing customer base.Strong IT skills ideally experience using a sales CRMStrong problem-solving skillsMUST have a driving licenceIn return you can expect to receive a basic salary of between £23-28,000 depending on your experience plus an annual bonus structure.
