Supply teacher Location; HerefordshireContract type; day-to-day basisSalary; £130 - 170 per day

Here at Academics we specialise in providing daily supply, short and long term placements and teaching assistants to primary and secondary schools across the whole ofthe UK, and we have great working relationships with schools around Hereford.Supply teaching is ideal if youre a teacher looking to gain experience across a wide variety of school settings, or for newly qualified teachers who want to gain more teaching experience before settling into a long term or permanent placement. As a supplyteacher you can essentially Try-before-you-buy and it is a great role to meet new schools and build relationships with them.The supply teacher will ideally have;
  • Experience with Primary School aged children and exceptional knowledge of the British Curriculum
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Genuine passion for the educational development of young minds.
  • Creativity and imagination to help motivate and inspire the pupils in lessons.
  • Patience, flexibility and open-mindedness.
As a supply teacher we will require you to have;
  • QTS
  • DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent behaviour management strategies.
