Job Description

Senior Customer Service Administrator (Office based) Redditch£27,000 to £30,000The CompanyThis is a privately owned engineering firm, quality accredited within a niche market, and is a market leader in its field. Offering bespoke solutions on an individual basis and catering for the mass market too. Unrivalled in both service and reputation,this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that has over 50 years of heritage in Redditch.Why Would I Want to Work HereDue to the progression of the business, this is a brand-new role. Uniform is provided and parking is available. Working hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. This is an SME that is growing and really supports its staff with full on-site training and developmentavailable. The director of the company really listens and cares about their employees and sees the importance of a good and supportive work environment. In addition, healthcare package is offered after 3 months probation, 20 days holiday and after each fullyear of service, you will acquire one additional days annual leave day up to a maximum of 25 days. Please note there is a Christmas shutdown period with this position.The Essence of The RoleYou will be supporting the MD, Engineering and Sales staff. Your role will be looking after the clients customer orders and ensuring parts are shipped on time and a high level of customer service is always provided.Scope of The Customer Service Executive

  • Managing key accounts
  • Processing Sales Orders via phone and email
  • Producing customer quotes, actioning orders via telephone and email
  • Answering all incoming calls and dealing with customers queries and complaints
  • Working closely with the warehouse and engineering teams to ensure back orders and parts are in stock
  • Organise shipping and postage
  • Occasionally overseeing the apprenticeships workload and a chance to develop your supervision skills
  • Managing client CRM systems, business terms, and pricing
Prerequisites
  • 4 GCSEs including English and Maths, Grade C and above
  • Be able to work in an office. Work from home is not an option
  • Be able to drive with access to your own transport
  • Have good communication skills and be able to build a rapport with new and existing customers
