My Client has been trading for over 20 years and has grown from strength to strength during this time and now employs over 40 people. They are now looking for a qualified and experienced Estimator who comes from a scaffolding background to join their teamas their current Estimator is leaving the company after working there for over 6 years. The successful candidate will be working on a variety of projects for the leading house builders such as Taylor Wimpey; St. Modwen; Barratt Homes and others, as well asall the local councils.About the Role:The client is looking for an estimator, who would producing accurate estimations in the agreed time frame and work in line with contractual arrangements. The successful candidate would also be expected to fully participate in the management of all incomingenquiries.Duties:Daily tasks will change depending on the day and the project but can consist of:Producing accurate estimations in the agreed time frameWorking in line with contractual arrangements.Fully participate in the management of all incoming enquiries.Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates for the indirect resources required to carry out works in accordance with programme.Reading and understanding architects/ consultants drawings to assess the scope of worksDoing full estimates / quotations and responding to tenders with project pricingObtaining quotations for any works that need to be subcontractedResponsible for all changes and variations to pricing prior to contract awardMonitoring of variations to original price with contracts and production managersLiaison with clients / directors/ contracts managers/ projects managers in weekly meetingsPreparing material take offs and quantity surveying duties for awarded projectsRequirements:Estimating experience.Experience within Scaffolding.Strikesoft software experience.Ability to work to strict deadlines.Ability to work under pressure.Why You Should Apply:£40,000 - £50,000 (Depending on experience, Package Negotiable).Company VehicleMonthly Bonus Scheme between £250 - £350Mobile phoneLaptop28 Days annual leaveCompany Pension
