Our well established and succesful client based in Redditch are currently recruiting for a permanent production planner to join their team. This is a permanent opportunity, based within their offices in Redditch working Monday to Friday 830-5 with an earlyfinish on a Friday.The ideal candidate would have excellent production planning skills, strong time management and attention to detail, ideally within an SME environment. Previously press shop/shop floor experience would be desirable but is not essential for the role.The role - To be responsible for the planning of production in a rolling mill & press shop environment - To be responsible for the planning of equipment maintenance systems - To maintain & assist in the good running of the STL computer systems especiallyJobBoss - To achieve projects within agreed budgets both financially and on time - To support other team members as and when required - To support other management functions as required - Supporting the Quality Team as required on planning issues. - To beproactively involved with the profitability of the business - The training of staff throughout the business in relevant disciplines - To develop local responsibility for planning Issues - To develop accurate internal failure costs. - To identify and eliminatewaste on an agreed basis - To cover for others during holidays / overseas supplier visits as appropriate - To be actively involved in interview / selection process of new team members - To be actively involved in the achievement of IATF 16949 and other qualitymatters - To be actively involved in the achievement of OHSAS 18001 & other H&S matters - To be actively involved in stock takes & valuationsPlease send your CV to apply, alternatively please contact the Adecco for further detailsAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
