Job Description

A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a proficient, experienced Production Manager to join a long established, progressive manufacturing organisation (leading manufacturer of access equipment). Working within a busy environment, role purposeof Production Manager will be to improve efficiency and productivity, promote company values, ensure adherence to Health & Safety requirements and enable the organisation to move forward and continue to expand.Offered as a permanent contract with attractive salary, company benefits and immediate start available, if you have previous experience as a Production Manager within the manufacturing industry, then please apply today!Production Manager duties will include:

  • Production Scheduling (using MIE-Trak)
  • Management of Team Leaders
  • Manage Goods In and Out
  • Stock Control
  • Ensure Manufacturing Efficiency
  • Purchasing of Materials and Consumables
  • Programming Laser
  • Development of SOPs/KPIs
  • Quality Assurance
  • Risk Assessments
  • Training
  • Health and Safety
  • Provide Team Leader cover as required
Skills/Attributes required for role of Production Manager:
  • Previous experience within a similar role and environment
  • Production Planning
  • People Management
  • Experience of Goods In and Out Management
  • IT Proficient with the ability to use MRP (MIE Trak) system
  • Experience in the Development of SOPs
  • Ability to work on own initiative, independently and to feedback to a wider group
  • Highly organised and reliable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commercially aware
  • Dedicated, focused, flexible and enthusiastic
Location: RedditchHours of Work: Mon to Thurs 7.45 am - 16.45 pm, Fri 7.45 am - 12.45 pmSalary: £37,000 p.a.Benefits: Production Bonus, Health Care
