Product Design Engineer (Lighting)£30,000 - £35,000Redditch, WorcestershireAre you a Design Engineer with a background in manufacturing, looking for a great opportunity to join a renowned leading lighting manufacturer, with ongoing inhouse training, a variety cutting edge projects, and a competitive package with the opportunityto progress your careerThis esteemed company are well known around the world and have been operating for almost a century, continuously increasing their revenue year on year. With vast experience in their field, they are leading the way with their brand-new, revolutionary lightingdesigns that are saving the planet.In this role you will be the go-to Design Engineer working on a variety of brand new, specialist projects from cradle to grave. You will be supporting the manufacturing team by creating new, exciting designs, and modeling them for production, whilst alsocontributing to saving the planet through a Carbon Neutral Company.This role would suit a Design Engineer from a manufacturing background who is looking to join a prestigious company with inhouse training, great progression opportunities and a great remuneration package.The Role:

  • Design of industrial and commercial lighting
  • Seeing projects through from cradle to grave
  • Monday to Thursday, 8.15am - 5:00pm and Friday 8.15am - 1:00pm
The Person:
  • Background in manufacturing
  • Experience in either Sheet Metal, Injection Moulding, Extrusions, Castings or similar
  • 3D CAD experience
