Job Description

We offer a very special opportunity of being able to join a welcoming, dynamic, fun place to work, and to work directly with the worlds biggest FMCGpower brands.We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliableOperationsManager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis working40 Hours per week at our Manufacturing division on site in Redditch As an Operations Manager, your duties will include:

  • Actively participating in the introduction of new products into DCS Manufacturing
  • Drive continuous improvement culture and implement a continuous improvement plant for all departments, ensuring costs, productivity and waste are controlled within set objectives
  • Accountability for the Production lines, Mixing, Setter functions within the manufacturing unit
  • Responsible for smooth running of all production areas, ensuring all manufacturing processes are in place whilst maintaining an efficient, cost effective and high-quality production rates
  • Ensuring all training requirements are met within the Operations organisation
What we are looking for in our ideal Operations Manager:
  • At least Level 5 Management qualification or equivalent experience
  • Engineering qualification gained through a minimum Bachelors degree or Apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Previous extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG, chemicals, cosmetics, food manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of Quality Assurance systems, processes and audits to BRC and / or ISO standards
  • Experience of improving manufacturing efficiencies, targets and outputs
