Job Description

Our Client is a speciality supplier and manufacturer of raw materials to the UK Personal Care & Cosmetic Industry.They are now seeking an NPD (New Product Development) Manager - Personal Care and Cosmetic Ingredients. This position will be based in Redditch, Worcestershire and report to the Division Manager - Personal Care. The position is a full-time permanent role.Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out formulation development
  • Gain instruction from the marketing and technical committee to identify work priorities and SMART objectives
  • Create formulations in the laboratory
  • Liaise with colleagues to understand business needs
  • Present findings to the customer
    • Qualifications and Experience
  • Science education to degree level (or equivalent)
  • Ability to create products in a number of fields of application in Personal Care / Cosmetic Ingredients
  • Commercial product technical formulation experience
  • Understanding of the sensitivities associated with a commercial sales operation
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to learn, reach consensus and communicate in an operational environment
  • Analytical, Numerate, Literate
  • Ability to make customer presentations
