* CNC* Milling & Turning* Multi Axis Machining & Conventional CNC MachiningCNC Machining OperativeLeading Local Industrial ManufacturerRedditchRole Overview:Our esteemed client, a prominent industrial manufacturer based in Redditch and known for producing a diverse range of metallic products, is on the lookout for a dedicated Machining Operative to join their expanding team. This role is pivotal to ensuring theprecision, quality, and efficiency of their advanced manufacturing processes. Shift Patterns & Compensation:* Night Shift: Mon-Thurs (10:00pm - 06:00am): £13.47 per hour with a £77.25 weekly shift allowance.* Overtime for both shifts is available at 1.3x the standard rate.Key Responsibilities:* CNC Milling & Turning* Skilfully operate CNC machinery, with a familiarity in Fanuc or Mazatrol controls being a plus.* Set up fixtures, tooling, and input programs into machines.* Strictly adhere to established operating procedures to deliver top-quality components.* Quality Control & Inspection:* Conduct rigorous quality checks, ensuring components align with the highest standards.* Utilise measuring tools and equipment to validate product specifications.* Engineering Drawings:* Accurately read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and schematics.* Seamlessly translate drawing guidelines into machining tasks to guarantee component precision.* Continuous Improvement:* Actively participate in initiatives aimed at process optimisation.* Work collaboratively with team members to refine machining processes and elevate production efficiency.Qualifications & Experience:* Established background as a machining operative with metal components.* Proficiency with CNC operations, spanning milling or turning * Prior experience with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls is beneficial.* Ability to adeptly read and interpret engineering drawings.
