Job Description

Our client Vietec is looking to hire an experienced and competent IP Security and Surveillance Systems Installation Engineer.Role PurposeYou will be working as part of our team, installing and maintaining remote and fixed CCTV systems and Access Control systems at sites across the UK.What youll be doingOn a day to day basis you will:

  • Repair, maintain and install CCTV systems (HIK/AXIS) and Access Control systems (Paxton/HIK/AXIS) in accordance with the relevant standards, and specific system specifications
  • Ensure all work is finished in an efficient and proper manner in accordance with company standards and protocol (SSAIB recognised)
  • Assist in upholding excellent site security, at all times
  • Delivery and collection of assets and materials
  • Implementing risk assessments and method statements as and when required
  • Report any observed unsafe acts, near misses and positive observations
  • Stay up to date with relevant regulatory codes and standards
  • Network Infrastructure - Cat6/Cat6a cabling
Who we are looking forTo join us in this role you have the following:
  • IP CCTV installation experience
  • Industry recognised qualifications related to CCTV
  • Good understanding of current standards
  • Full UK driving licence
  • No criminal record (Security & Vetting checks are required in the industry)
  • Valid ECS/CSCS
  • IPAF, PASMA (preferred)
  • Midlands based
