If youthrive in a fast-paced setting, possess a keen eye for detail, and are passionate about streamlining stock control procedures, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Job title:Inventory ManagerSalary: £32,000Working hours: 36 hours per weekMonday to Friday – Full time (1pm Finish on Fridays!)Location: RedditchResponsibilities:• Work daily stock reports from the warehouse using Excel.• Utilise the stock forecast sheet to process figures and contribute to effective stock planning.• Process invoicing using SAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Resolve invoices that cannot be booked due to goods issue discrepancies, collaborating with relevant teams to find resolutions.• Process received Proof of Deliveries (PODs) and promptly address any discrepancies reported by the warehouse or depot.• Regularly request missing PODs to maintain complete records (weekly basis).• Manage stock status by closely monitoring Detailed Stock Reports.• Initiate and follow up on concessions as needed to resolve stock-related issues.• Process manual Special Sales Orders.• Handle over-deliveries from the warehouse, ensuring accurate tracking and appropriate resolution.• Analyse and process split orders on the stock forecast sheet after truck allocation to avoid potential shortages.• Regularly review schedules to identify and address any expected shortages in a proactive manner.The ideal candidate:• Prior experience in stock control or inventory management is preferred.• Proficiency in Excel and experience working with inventory management systems.• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.• Knowledge of stock control principles, best practices, and inventory management techniques.Join us and embark on a rewarding career path with ample opportunities for growth, professional development, and a supportive work environment.
