Job Description

Quest Leisure Products Ltd are a forward thinking, fast growing company currently operating in the B2B market place. To help with the continued growth we are looking to recruit a full-time Finance Manager.This is a hands on newly created role due to the previous owner managed business being acquired by the Slake Group of Companies that will be central in supporting the local management team transition and strengthen the local finance function.Reporting to the Finance Director being responsible for the overseeing of the day-to-day operations of the finance function to include periodic reporting of the financials in line with group requirements ensuring compliance adhered to with authorities, locallaws and legislation. Being a valued contributor to the management team.Key Responsibilities

  • Production of monthly management accounts for submission into Head Office, highlighting variances and narratives to support.
  • Ensuring monthly bank and balance sheet controls are complete and accurate.
  • Overseeing outsourced payroll solution ensuring controls are in place.
  • Ensure working capital is reviewed and maintained on a regular basis and any concerns raised with the Finance Director.
  • Suggest improvements in controls and policies.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
  • Ensuring all authority returns are filed accurately and on time. e.g. VAT, PAYE
  • Preparation of year end audit requirements, and assistance with annual budgets.
  • Safeguard the recording accurately the assets of the company
  • Be an integral part of the local Management Team.
Person Specification
  • Have minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, ideally fully qualified, QBE considered.
  • Advanced SAP Business One experience is desirable.
  • Strong IT skills including Excel to an advanced level.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and an interest in driving the business forward.
Hours of work39.5 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday.Benefits
