Customs Co-Ordinator VacancyWe are a Freight Forwarding and Logistics operator based in Redditch, Worcestershire and are looking for experienced Customs Co-Ordinators to join our expanding team. As a business we specialise in Freight Forwarding activities within the EU to a wide range of manufacturers and industries. This would be an ideal position for with specific experience of Customs procedures already working within the Forwarding industry.The Role· To be our first point of contact for customs queries· Responsible for all customs clearance procedures and compliance· Ensuring that documentation is prepared and accepted for all daily export shipments in a timely manner· Assist in managing customer interfaces and expectations to ensure excellent customer service is offered to our clients· Provide the rest of our team with customs support as required.· Monitor the clearance status of all shipments· Liase with warehouse and operations staff to be ensure that tight time schedules are met.· Initial flexibility on working hours whilst we adjust to the new Brexit requirements from 1st January 2021The Candidate· Excellent communication and co-ordination skills, with a good knowledge of Freight Forwarding and Customs procedures· IT literate with knowledge of Customs software and transport Management Systems· Strong organisation and time management skills· Ability to work as part of a team· At least 3 years relevant experience.The role attracts a package of up to £25,000 -£28,000 per annum according to experience, a pension scheme, 20 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays.
