Job Description

Water Hygiene EngineerReading£25,000 - £35,000 + Benefits (Depending on experience) Experienced in legionella control and water hygieneLooking for a new challengeOur brilliant client who has over 30 years experience within the water hygiene industry, is now looking for talented water hygiene and water treatment engineers to join their award-winning team in the Thames Valley area. They are focused on providing highquality services, equipment, and solutions throughout the life of a building, and this focus has ensured their growth into one of the market leading water hygiene companies operating in the Southeast.This exciting vacancy is suited to skilled, time served Water Hygiene/Treatment Engineers who have a genuine passion for the work they complete.Duties & Responsibilities of a Water Hygiene Engineer:

  • TMV servicing and installations.
  • Temperature checks and water sampling.
  • Cold water tank cleans and disinfections.
  • Closed system analysis and dosing of systems.
  • Acid descaling and chlorinations.
  • Remedial plumbing works when required.
  • Water Softener and UV unit services and maintenance.
Required Experience of a Water Hygiene Engineer:
  • A full UK driving licence is essential!
  • You must have previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of water regulations and ACOP L8 is essential.
  • You will need to have excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • You will need to have a passion to learn and progress your career.
  • NVQ level 2 in plumbing or similar will be of benefit with any other qualifications also being an advantage.
