Your Role:As aHigher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting student progress. Here’s what you’ll do:
  • Mentorship: Act as a mentor and keyworker for vulnerable students across all age groups.
  • Quality Support: Utilize your knowledge base to provide high-quality support in the classroom and through one-on-one or small group work.
  • Curriculum Alignment: Work alongside teachers to empower students to take ownership of their learning, following our Self-Directed Learning pedagogy.
  • Compliance: Stay informed about relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation.
  • SEND Expertise: Understand Special Educational Needs (SEND) procedures.
  • Qualifications: Meet HLTA standards (or equivalent) with NVQ Level 4/5.
  • Positive Example: Uphold personal integrity, professionalism, and effective communication.
