Job Description

Our client are recruiting for a Sales Support Specialist for their small but dynamic company that brings brands to the UK market. This role supports the clients and sales team in securing products on shelves of all the major high street retailers, acrossfood service outlets, in contract caterers, convenience and health food stores and perhaps even your local pub!A typical day in the life of a Sales Support Specialist:There will be an assortment of tasks some of which are process driven, with a proportion of your time being autonomous to keep you focused and engaged including: -

  • Onboarding of clients and management of all relevant client / product information
  • Agree processes and stakeholders
  • Project manage new listings, including stock management and forecasting
  • Creation and submission of all documentation pertaining to listings, promotions and account management
  • Organise, prepare and attend regular client / sales meetings, including agenda and minutes of meetings
  • Analysis of retailer EPOS data and promotional mechanics with recommendations for further action
  • Co-ordinating sales presentations and other relevant literature
  • Update and manage CRM system
  • Packing and dispatching of samples to customers
Desired Skills/Knowledge
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than experience
  • Ongoing, in-house and external training will be available
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal, experience of working in a team
  • Organisational skills and ability to work independently
  • Strength in building strong relationships
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • IT literate – MS Office + Teams, strong Excel knowledge
  • Logistics knowledge a bonus
