Job Description

Our client based in Reading is an innovative Hosted IT and Communications Solutions Provider. They provide end-to-end IT infrastructure and services and are continuing to build on their solutions portfolio. Expanding rapidly they are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Product Manager (Security). This is an exciting role where youll be responsible for bringing Security products to the market. Youll be working closely with other teams withinthe business to outline: the opportunity, the requirements, methodology and process, to successfully deliver on the product roadmap. You will be bringing to market new and competitive Security solutions, as well as focussing on further promoting and commercialisingthe existing Security portfolio. Duties

  • Ownership of product launches from ideation stage to launch and In-Life management
  • Complete market research into product positioning and competitor offerings
  • Support Proposition development and product positioning within key markets
  • Product commercials, demonstration of ROI, TCO Charts and cost-price analysis
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on outbound Product Marketing
  • Deliver Presentations at both virtual and physical events as well as supporting the in-house videographer with subject matter expertise - digital content creation.
  • Be the Product Champion/Evangelist, promoting it to both in-house and Partner led Sales Teams.
  • Prepare and deliver internal and external training for the Sales team, Technical Support and Partners.
  • Continued revision of price books and product messaging during the life of the product
  • Preparing cross-media product communication tools
  • Responsibility for the creation of a profitable revenue stream around Security, including but not limited to SOW, SEDs Proposal & Marketing Collateral.
  • Deliver campaigns and events to help deliver profit & revenue growth targets
  • Monthly reporting
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience within Security in IT
  • Exposure to some of the following: Ransomware, SIEM, AV, Microsoft security products, Public/Hybrid Cloud Security.
  • Proficiency in both the theory and the practice of product management
  • Background and passion for technology
  • Flawless written and verbal communication
  • You must enjoy working in a fast paced and energetic environment
  • Comfortable presenting at senior level
  • Committed to exceeding expectations, proven experience.
  • Outstanding communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Superior professional presence and business acumen
  • Highly motivated and willing to focus and commit
  • Youll ideally have a passion for innovation and a keen eye on identifying gaps in the market.
  • You will work closely with the Practice Lead to build and sustain high-quality relationships, successfully develop, and execute plans in order to grow new profitable revenues and drive longer term strategic opportunities.
Salary
  • Basic Salary £50,000 to £60,000 dependant on skills and experience.
