Youre not just managing; youre crafting an environment thats efficient,high-quality and an absolute joy for our joiners.So, if youre ready to take the helm of the manufacturing revolution, turning challenges into opportunities and creating a legacy of operational excellence, then apply today!The RoleAs our Head of Production, you will turn our good manufacturing and production workshop into a great one!You’ll assess our currently status against LEAN and WCM principles and develop a plan for improvements whilst imbedding a LEAN culture across our manufacturing operations.Leading, training and motivating our first-class manufacturing team, you’ll oversee all our manufacturing activities across the business, creating and implementing our best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures.You will manage manufacturing policies, guidelines and associated documents, ensuring operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets enable us to function and compete effectively in the market.Additionally, you will:- Contribute to the overall business strategy and annual budget process- Champion H&S best practice- Initiate and develop creative and innovative manufacturing processesAbout YouTo be considered as our Head of Production, you will need:- A complex manufacturing and/or custom manufacturing planning background- At least two years’ experience of budgeting, financial and operational reporting- Experience in leading LEAN improvements in a complex environment- Exceptional leadership, influencing, negotiation, delegation and people skills- Excellent organisational and planning skills- A full, valid driving licenceOther organisations may call this role Head of Manufacturing and Production, Production Lead, Senior Production Manager, Head of Joinery Production, or Head of Production Operations.Webrecruit and Paragon Design Joinery are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
