Job Description

DRAYTON is a long established (50+ years), promotional merchandise company with a virtually limitless range of products. We have a small dynamic team supplying marketing support to our clients, in the form of branded material. Anything from digital e-brochuresand webstores to printed material such as brochures and pull up banners, through to merchandise. Merchandise can be literally anything from a peanut to a marquee branded with our clients details. and are used as rewards; gifts for clients, staff, suppliersand prospects; give-aways at exhibitions and events.We require an artworker / designer to fulfill the following tasks:-

  • Design and update all internal marketing material, which includes brochures, stationery, wallpaper, posters
  • Designing of the company website
  • Designing social media posts
  • Update corporate webstores
  • Design clients marketing and stationery material
  • Create packaging from scratch using specialist software (training provided) - boxes, bags
  • Create visuals for all promotional merchandise branding for clients
  • Creating quirky designs when prototyping ideas and products to exisitng clients and new prospects
Although our market place is 95% business to business sales, we would like you to design and create a range of consumer products to sell via webstores.You must have extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, espically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop together with experience in web and email design.DRAYTON operates many pieces of equipment for printing/branding in-house and a knowledge of all these machines is necessary, in order to produce designs suitable for the specifics of each. Training will be provided for each machine.There are tight deadlines daily. Last minute client requests require everyone in the team to multitask and adjust their prioirites accordingly. The job requires precision and a thorough understanding of the nuances and grammar of the English language.The open plan offices are a truly friendly place to work, with a family feel. The team is just 10 strong so It is of prime importance that each new recruit is a good match to the exisiting team. A bubbly personality and pleasant manner is essential witha "can do" attitude. Its all about caring.We operate from 9000 sq ft of office space, so it spacious for our head count, with production areas and showrooms, together with kitchens and meeting rooms.At the end of the day, its not just a question of doing ones best - to be effective its about doing whatever it takes.
