Job Description

We already punch way above our weight and we are looking for someone to throw some punches with us!We are industry leaders in providing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle inspection and survey solutions around the world but we are also becoming increasingly recognised as a world leader in visual asset management software solutions through our own iHawk cloud-based software.In short - we do cool stuff and we are really good at it.We recently moved into a stunning new office location on the upper floor of the EICA Climbing Centre at Ratho - Europe’s largest indoor climbing arena. Currently employing around 60 people but with plans to grow aggressively in the coming years, it’s an exciting place to be and we want you.We are focused on building strong, ethical relationship with our clients, that highlight the values that underpin our business. You will need to take ownership of your tasks while playing your part of the team within the Company.We are looking for a Geospatial Technician who can multi-task as our business develops. You will be reporting to the Visualisation & Geospatial Manager, this role will primarily involve photogrammetric processing and analysis with some field work.Our employees are our most valuable asset. You will be entitled to 30 days holiday per year (inclusive of Bank Holidays).We are ideally looking for candidates to be situated within the central belt of Scotland.Geospatial Technician - Responsibilities:

  • Processing aerial imagery using photogrammetry software
  • Processing aerial/terrestrial imagery using photography processing software
  • Working with 3D pointcloud/mesh datasets
  • Creating virtual tours
  • Processing geospatial data
  • Image editing using Adobe Photoshop or similar
  • Video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar
  • Liaising with operational and technical managers
  • Field work with GPS and other survey equipment
  • Regular travel and fieldwork will be required

  • Previous experience with creating 3D mesh models
  • Previous experience with photogrammetry software
  • Previous experience handling geospatial data
  • Previous experience with CAD or BIM software
  • Previous experience in image or video editing
  • An eye for detail and the ability to work to tight schedules
  • Excellent spelling and grammar and attention to detail
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Previous experience with 360 cameras
  • Previous experience with GPS equipment
