Job Description

Our client manages and maintains the vehicles for one of the largest police forces in the UK, using advanced diagnostic tools and methods on some of the most exclusive vehicles on the road. We are recruiting for a qualified Vehicle Technician who is lookingfor a truly unique opportunity.As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of police vehicles. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring thatall vehicles are safe and roadworthy.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, vans, motorcycles, and specialised police vehicles.
  • Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the fleet.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
  • Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and other vehicle components.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds or NVQ levels 3 (or equivalent)
  • ExperiencedVehicle Technician
  • Strong experience using diagnostic machines to identify and repair mechanical issues
  • Confidently achieve the required level of security clearance
  • Valid UK driving licence.
