Seafreight Import Clerk - VR/21342The Company & Role:Our client, a leading logistics provider and respected freight forwarder, is looking for a Seafreight Import Clerk for their office in Rainham.Duties of the Seafreight Import Clerk:

  • Control all Seafreight Import activities on a start to finish basis
  • Ensure all Consignments are loaded onto computer system prior to arrival / departure
  • Keep customers fully informed of anything which may cause delay to a shipment
  • Develop constructive relationships with key customers and key suppliers
    • Experience Required for the Seafreight Import Clerk:
  • Start to finish Sea Freight Import experience is essential
  • Able to work and meet deadlines
  • Computer literate
  • A pro-active attitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
