Job Description

Are you looking for a part-time (24 hours per week)Payroll Assistant role Wednesday to Friday 0900-1730This is an exciting opportunity to join a large and growing company; regarded as experts within their industry, with opportunities for employees to develop within their roles.Payroll Assistant duties:This role is for an experienced Payroll candidate who is adept at managing the complete Payroll process including starters, leavers and pay variables, managing the relationship with an outsourced Payroll provider, coordination of HMRC taxobligations. The role requires the post holder to be able to communicate, analyse and calculate effectively so you should have an excellent standard of English and Maths. The post holder will also provide extensive administration support for HR but previousexperience in HR is not necessary.

  • Monthly collation, processing and checking of Payroll using for 300 plus employees
  • Monthly European payroll - (administration only)
  • Changes to individuals payroll records relating to Payroll elements
  • Pension and Payroll reconciliation reports for Finance Department
  • Maintenance of BUPA Cash Plan Scheme
  • Maintenance of Pension scheme
  • New starter process in total
  • Preparation of Employment Offers
  • Occupational Health Clinic schedules and monitoring
  • Payroll/HR system maintenance
  • HR and payroll correspondence
  • Organisation of yearly flu vaccination clinic
  • Eye care vouchers - orders and distribution
  • Annual pension reviews - facilitate and organise appointments
  • Invoices relating to HR Department - raising purchase orders and receipting them on JD Edwards system
  • Directors Remuneration
  • Filing
  • Assist and provide information during audits
Qualifications/Experience required:
  • Payroll experience essential - minimum of two years operating at the above level.
  • Payroll systems knowledge.
  • HR Administration knowledge.
  • Intermediate level of Word and Excel.
