Are you seeking a rewarding role in educationHave you worked as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support workerReed are working with a great education establishments that is recruiting for an emotionally rewarding role as a learning support assistant on a temporary ongoing basis.Title: Learning Support AssistantLocation: EssexPay: £13.05phHours: Monday - FridayTime: 9:00am - 17:00pmDuration: Temporary ( term time only )What’s the day-to-day responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant

  • To support students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
  • To set SMART targets on a termly basis
  • To do daily progress reports for your students
  • To motivate and support students with their studies in a classroom setting
  • You will be supporting learners 16+
What are the required skills and qualifications needed for this role
  • Experience supporting with learning difficulties including personal care and Manuel handling
  • Prior reading and scribing experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
