Job Description

Finance Analyst/Business Partnerup to £40k + study support + bonus + shares 2 days per week in Rainham, the rest from homeThis is a really exciting brand new role to join a growing business as a Finance Analyst. As a Finance Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Finance team with driving weekly analysis, prepartion of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and driving efficidences and improvements.The business are growing year on year and this role provides great exposure alongside huge progression opportunities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for weekly sales and margin reporting to the business
  • Producing analysis on various clients
  • Production of weekly KPI reports and analytics
  • You will support the finance manager in the preparation of the annual Budget, combining a top down approach with a full bottom up, stakeholder engaged budgeting process. Given rapid expansion of the business internationally, this can be quite dynamic, andinvolves co-ordination of work across the finance and business teams.
  • You will be a key part of the monthly management accounting process and will support the management accounting team as necessary to achieve a timely and accurate set of monthly accounts
  • Assist with the Payroll system from a finance perspective
  • Support VAT and Tax return filings
  • Post weekly journals and support the statutory accounting process
Person Specification:Essential
  • Studying towards accountancy qualification, sat at least 2 exams
  • ACCA or CIMA part qualified
  • Ambitious, driven and keen to finish studies
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Analytical mindset and high attention to detail
  • Able to represent Finance and build relationships across the business
