Job Description

Multi-skilled Engineer, electrical bias required for to join this well-established maintenance team. Shifts are 4 on, 4 off, working a mix of night and day shifts on alternate weeks 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am. Yearly salary is between £40,000 - £49,000. For the right candidate, this can be offered from day 1 as a permanent position.This role will involve the preventive and reactive maintenance functions of plant equipment, as well as fault finding in Power circuits, Controls and PLC controls.If you are a college leaver with anelectrical engineeringqualification, eager to develop a career in this line of work, and with hands-on practical experience gained through your qualification; we would be interested in speakingwith you.Duties:

  • Provide both a reactive and pro-active, highly skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure
  • Electrical engineer bias
  • Ensure health & safety and environmental compliance at all times
  • Attend and solve mechanical breakdowns
  • Improve on project delivery, highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes
  • Request & check RAMS, induct personnel, provide permits to work and oversee contractor works onsite
  • Liaise with the SHEQ team to resolve H&S, environmental, and internal audits
