Family Support Workers or Childrens Support Assistant - Imagine doing a job where you get to influence outcomes for young children and their families through you job as a Childrens Centre Worker. To do this you need to have four things1) Appropriate Qualifications - Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Education, Health and/or Social Care2) Experience - Gained in a child centred environment working with pre-school and primary aged pupils3) Driver - Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for home visits4) Attitude - Great attitude, approachable and the biggest smile humanly possibleYou will be working with children and their families to provide activities, education and support to young children and their families. Staging early interventions and providing solutions to improve outcomes for the local children supported. So you need to be used to working with and handling family case loads.Often working with children that are faced with social and emotional challenges and providing family support with a holistic approach to learning in order to enable children ready for School.Must have experience working with pre-school and primary aged children to include potentially dealing with 3rd party agencies and providing ongoing support for the transition into education. Many of the children looking for support are EAL and need nurturing support with language and communication.In return you will enjoy;-
