Quality Compliance AuditorOur client, a highly successful global food ingredient manufacturer, based in Hartlepool, has an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Compliance Auditor to join their team. Objective of the Role The job holder will support the management of product safety, legality and quality; through managing raw materials are suitable for use and site standards are maintained.Responsibilities of the RoleSite Audits* Conduct site audits to ensure all standards are maintained (e.g. GMP, hygiene, glass, CCP)H&S* Support site to ensure H&S standards are adhered to at all times* Ensure departmental risk assessments are up to date* Support in any investigations as required* Adopt and display a "Dont Walk By" cultureFactory Standards* Drive all standards within the factory to ensure that the site is audit ready against all relevant regulatory, internal and customer standards, this is achieved through the internal audit system and continual assessment of the site standards when on the factoryfloorInternal Stakeholder Communication* Liaise with all relevant functions within the Business to ensure customer service is continually at the highest levelProduct Utilisation* Daily management of all raw materials on site to ensure they are used within shelf life/open life or appropriate action taken (extension, disposal, labelling, monthly reporting) Liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure action of raw material is appropriateNon-Conforming Materials* Manage raw material non-conformances via SAP and liaise with suppliers regarding actions and closure ensuring corrective action is timely, appropriate and will rectify and eliminate recurrence* Ensure supplier credits are followed up where necessary so the site is compensated for nonconforming materialsSite Audit Compliance* Support the site in achieving relevant site certifications, maintaining the H&S of site operations and minimising the environmental impact of the site* Complete/coordinate any other reasonable duties allocated to this post or that of any other you may hold or as required by managementSalary£22 000 - 25 000, plus shift allowanceDays/HoursShifts Work Monday - Friday, alternating weeks of 6-2/2-10 This is a fantastic opportunity to join an already successful team, the role may suit someone with a good level of education, some experience of working within the food sector with some good analytical skills.If youre looking for a new challenge, have some experience of working within the food sector APPLY NOW for more information.
