Job Description

Permanent Job - FLT Counterbalance - ElyWe are hiring a permanent and full time Forklift Driver to work at the Ely, of this nationally recognised business print business, considered to be the leader in its field of expertise.Roles & Responsibilities

Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of good health and safety practices
Proven experience of working towards KPIs and deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills; both written and verbally
Excellent attention to detail
Good Understanding off receiving stock and checking paperwork
The ability to make informed decisions

Requirements

Experienced Forklift Driver (Min of 12 months continuous FLT Work)
Experienced in loading and unloading different types of pallets
As a Forklift Truck driver you will be responsible for the daily vehicle checks ensuring that the Forklift is in good working order and report any maintenance issues.
While working in the factory it is your responsibility to be aware of your surroundings and adhere to the workplace transport guidelines as set out by the company.
The role requires you to work with a variety personnel within your area of production.

Skills & Experience

Must have a good work ethic, reliable, punctual & hardworking
Basic/General understanding of English.

Shifts

40 hours a week
Weekly rotationon
06.00 to 14.00 and 14.00 to 22.00 the following week.
You will work on an annualised contract where during our Peak times from August to October, you will be expected to work 48 hours a week Monday to Saturday on the same shift basis and we will then give you these days off during our quiet periods.

Pay Rate

£25500.00
