Role: AccountantLocation: MaidstoneSalary: Up to £40k(Depending on Experience)Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:301 hour unpaid lunchOur client based in Maidstone is looking to recruit a Dealership Accountant to join their Finance Team.Their Dealership Accountants are hardworking individuals who can work on their own initiative and are key players in the Finance team. The main responsibilities of the Dealership Accountant are:Produce Monthly sets of Management Accounts in-line with Internal Audit and within strict deadlinesInvolvement in Internal AuditSupport Accounts StaffAssist with Processing and signing off PayrollsFinancial Assistance Support with Management TeamOver-see sign off on production submission of remaining dealership accountsFinancial support for Franchise Director HOBsCo-ordinate manage budget process with Franchise Director for divisionAccounts support for ADP payroll integrationContinued involvement with internal audit SOX.To be successful in this role, the ideal Dealership Accountant will have the following traits:Full AAT Qualification or studying ACCA CIMA ICAEWPrevious Experience of the Automotive industry is desirableExcellent communication skills and the ability to use this at all levelsExtremely organised with a high attention to detailGood computer skillsPassionate, driven and pro-activeWork well as part of a team, however be able to self-motivate with the ability to multi-task and manage ones own work load.Professional, well-presented and approachableHave an accurate and methodical approach to work.Will be able to meet deadlines and prioritise work.If you have the above experience and feel like you would be a good fit for the role, please apply online or contact our recruitment team for more information.
