Job Description

Mobile Waste OperativeWe are recruiting for a Mobile Waste Operative for the local council in IlkestonAs Mobile Waste Operative you will need :

  • A full clean driving licence as a council van will be provided
  • Working week is normally Monday to Friday with a 7:30am start but some flexability is required to cover extra shifts on weekends if required
  • 37-40 hours per week
  • Location- Long Eaton
  • Starting salary is £9:50 increasing to £10:19 after 12 weeks
Job role of a Mobile Waste Operative
  • Collection of the public bins in and around the borough of Ilkeston
  • Tipping the vehicle at the end of the day
  • Assisting other teams with duties
  • Be able to work on your own
  • Adhering to all the health and safety rules and regulations

  • Someone that can deal with the general public in a polite and courteous way
  • Careful vigilant driver
  • A person that is able to work on their own , without supervision
