Job Description

Assistant Project Manager

  • Salary between £25,000.00 and £30,000.00 per annum depending on skills and experience.
  • Generous Company Profit Share Scheme.
  • 30 days holidayIncludes Bank Holidays and additional holiday for each year of service capped at 5 days.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as our Assistant Project Engineer. You will have recently qualified as an electrician or graduated with an electrical engineering qualification and wish to advance your career in project management. Training and support will be provided.The successful applicant will have the following:
  • An electrical engineering qualification to HNC/HND standard or higher.
  • Has a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. Confident communicator.
  • The ability to prioritise and plan a varied workload for themselves and others.
The successful applicant would be responsible for the following:
  • Producing installation and product-only quotes.
  • Providing technical support to colleagues and customers.
  • Assist with the planning and monitoring project overseeing the overall progress of the project & resolve any issues that arise.
  • Assist with implementing any corrective actions where needed to keep projects on track.
  • Ensuring project documentation is maintained and up to date.
  • Writing method statements and risk assessments.
  • Assisting with planning of work to meet customer requirements and our own objectives.
  • Other tasks in the office, workshop and warehouse as required by the business.
