Job Description

We are recruiting Grounds Maintenance Operative (s) in the Ilkeston/Erewash area to work on behalf of the local council.As a Grounds Maintenance Operative (s) you will need to have:

  • A full, clean driving license
  • Good work ethic
  • Ability to work as part of a team, but sometimes on your own
  • Flexibility to work weekdays as well as some weekends
Details of Grounds Maintenance Operative (s):
  • Salary: £9.50 per hour increasing after 12 weeks to £10.19 per hour
  • Working Hours: Normal start time is 7:30 am working until 4 pm
  • Location: Ilkeston
  • Duration: Ongoing
Role of a Grounds Maintenance Operative (s)
  • General Gardening duties
  • Mowing, strimming, cutting, flower beds, street cleansing, sports pitches
  • Working as part of a team
  • Using power tools or riding on machinery
