Job Description

Experienced CNC Miller and Turner We are excited to be able to offer an excellent opportunity on behalf of our client based in Rochford, as an Experienced CNC Miller and Turner. The ideal candidate will also be capable of manual Milling and Turning.Duties consist of:CNC Duties:

Setting and running a CNC mill-turn
Interpretation of engineering drawings
High quality, high tolerance, small batch
Quality control

Manual Turning:

Operating manual Colchester lathes.
Working to toleranced engineering drawings for the manufacture of low volume stainless parts.

Manual Milling:

Operating manual Bridgeport mill.
Working to toleranced engineering drawings for the manufacture of low volume stainless parts.

Other

Material Prep - sawing of billets ready for machining, clearing swarf, topping up coolant etc.
Bench Fitting - basics such as marking out, drilling, sawing and filing.
Housekeeping - ensure a tidy, safe and organised work environment.
