Elevation Recruitment Group, Marketing division are currently looking for an ambitious and driven individual who is interested in progressing their career in Product Management.My client is a highly successful Automotive supplier, based in West Yorkshire, and they are seeking a career minded individual who they can further develop in Category & Product Management.Assisting the Product Managers for assigned categories, you will develop a sound understanding of the market place through research and analysis on sales and end user requirements. Supporting the development of new products and the re-design of existing productsand packaging.You will also work closely with the sales department to support them with client presentations and product information. Assist with exhibitions and trade shows and liaise with suppliers on performance and progress.Key Responsibilities;* Assist with delivery of new product development and product launches* Working cross functionally with purchasing department to seek opportunities to reduce costs and optimise quality* Support existing product improvements* Carrying out relative market research to maintain up to date with market trends and buying patterns* Expediting where possible with suppliers to ensure stringent time frames are met* Assist with Exhibitions and trade shows where necessarySkills & Experience required;* Degree educated or equivalent* Competent in the use of Microsoft office* Previous experience or a desire to develop a career in Product Management* Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail* Confident in communicating at all levels and working collaboratively with other departments* Previous experience in automotive, manufacturing or engineering sectorsBenefits;Salary up to £30k dependant on experience25 days holidayHybrid WorkingCareer progression
