Job Description

Would you like to work in a fast paced, dynamic WarehouseAdecco are one of the largest Recruitment agencies in the world and have partnered with one of the largest online retailers in the world, who are as candidate focused as they are customer focused and have warehouse employment opportunities in Port Talbot!Excellent Pay Rate Provided:

  • £10.00 per hour (days) to £11.00 per hour (nights)
  • Overtime rates between £15.00 per hour to £22.00 per hour
Shift Patterns05:00-11:30 or 01:15-09:45Roles offer up to 40 hours per week which are on a variable pattern. An example of possible working patterns is shown below:Week 1:Monday, Tuesday, Saturday Week 2:Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday Week 3:Sunday, MondayYour role as a Warehouse Operative:
  • To provide an excellent delivery experience for customers by receiving & sorting parcels into the correct postcodes and ensuring accuracy within the parcels
  • Working in an exceptionally fast-paced and engaging environment
  • Handling the full range of items sold
  • Lifting and moving products up to 23kg in weight
The role involves the following physical requirements on a daily basis:
  • Standing and/or walking during the duration of a shift
  • Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretching
  • Pushing, pulling and lifting product up to 23kg in weight
  • Manual dexterity of both hands and wrists
  • Working on a secure mezzanine at a height of between 9 to 12 metres (equivalent to a 3 or 4 storey building)
  • Regularly climbing and descending flights of stairs safely
