Your patience, empathy and caring nature make you the ideal person to support the individuals who live at our residential home in Porth.Ty Galan service is three-bedroom residential home where we supporting children and young adults from age 8 to 19 years old. Children living at Ty Galan have access to Porth, with its shops and amenities, including The Orb, our pioneering work skills centrelocated on the high street in the town.Much of your role will be spent supporting autistic children with day-to-day tasks, enabling them the opportunity to live as independent and fulfilling life as possible. On good days, youll take them on day trips, help them prepare meals and make sure theyregetting out and about enjoying some of Wales beautiful countryside.Other days, youll need to take on a more Carer focused role, helping vulnerable children with personal hygiene and care. Sometimes, if the person youre supporting is having a hard day, youll need to support and keep them safe whilst they calm down. Itsok though, youll be given all the training you need.
