Job Description

We are working in partnership with a National social care provider that supports elderly residents with dementia and old age. They are looking to recruit an experienced Deputy Nursing Home Manager for their large nursing home based in Rhondda, Rhondda CynonTaf.As with most of this providers portfolio of homes, it has been purpose built to promote a lifestyle for residents that offers beautiful, homely accommodation. Every resident has an EN-suite bathroom and the home also has excellent on-site facilities. Theyhave designed this home so it can offer personalised residential and dementia care in a luxury environment.The Deputy Nursing Home Manager will:

  • Take responsibility for clinical care in the home.
  • Deputising for the General Manager during periods of absence
  • Managing the recruitment and training of the clinical team;
  • Leading, managing, supporting and inspiring the clinical team to deliver outcomes for the home.
  • Taking responsibility for the supervision, appraisal and performance management of the clinical team, supporting them to achieve their potential.
  • Initiating regular communication with colleagues, residents, relatives, and external stakeholders.
The Deputy Nursing Home Manager will need:• Registered Nurse or RMN with active NMC PIN and strong clinical skills • Proven experience of post-qualification Practice in a health and social care setting with older people• Previous experience of leading a team•To have excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and have a clear passion for providing exceptional care to the residents.The successful candidate will be joining a forward-thinking provider that ensures its homes are run to highest possible standards.This role will require an Enhanced DBS checkThis role is not hybridJob Types: Full-time, PermanentTitle: Deputy Nursing Home ManagerLocation: Rhondda, Rhondda Cynon TafSalary: £44-47K DOEOur aim is to contact all successful applications within 5 days of receiving your application.
