Job Description

Business Development AssistantPorthTemp to PermFull Time£20,000 per annum basic, up to £28,000 per annum with bonus.Acorn Recruitment are recruiting for a Business Development Assistant with a manufacturing client.Main purpose:

  • Delivering new business to agreed sales targets.
  • Maintaining and managing existing client relationships.
  • Researching the market and related products.
  • Helping to promote the company and its services.
    • Key tasks:
  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails working closely with Sales Co-ordinator.
  • Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
  • Gathering market and customer information.
  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
    • Candidate requirements:
  • Proven track record of successful business development with experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to work to own initiative.
  • Hard working character.
  • Ability to work with others.
